So far the scobies have just shrunken a lot, but noting else really happened. I used some of my compost to plant my porch garden this year and they did well. I need to rehab my compost again and pull out more dirt and mix everything else up to start on next years compost/potting mix. I’ll get another close look to see if anything has changed in the last couple of months since I last saw them.
However, the pot I put one or two scobies in and then just planted starts in it didn’t do well. After the season is over, I’ll be digging those out and doing something else with them. For growing peppers they aren’t great.

Hey, you should check out Kris Carr and her book Crazy Sexy Diet. It’s all about detoxing and there’s even a 21 day adventure cleanse guideline in the book. She supports juicing 100% and thinks that it’s the best thing for you body. I’ve learned so much from her book (and I’m only 17) that’s helped me with my vegan diet. Please check it out! You’ll love it! She’s very enthusiastic throughout the entire book.

So from what I’ve learned about Locks of Love is that you get it chopped in a pony tail or braid at a salon that knows the “rules” – how to measure. Though it isn’t that hard. From there you take home the hair and mail it in yourself. Thanks for reminding me I need to do an updated post on what I did to make it more clear.

Rick was for a few months a couple of years ago. Since then we have adapted it to be gluten free, no preservatives, no processed “fake” sugar. The big difference is we now eat some grains and potatoes which from what I remember aren’t allowed for a long time on the SC diet.

Wow, that’s a little unnerving – and Bellingham is great because we don’t have fluoride. I’m so glad that I’m filtering now! Also another reminder that I need to update with another post. Thanks for the reminder and sharing the information!
